UNEMPLOYMENT AMENDMENT. ,-ii : V * , (By T Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 8. The Unemployment Amendment Bill was passed in the House onbdiipresentatives at 7.30,,this morning; ’after an all night sitting. Labour and Independent members moved an array of amendements, all of which were rejected. The closure was. applied only once, and, in most cases, clauses and amendments went to the: division. After a comparatively brief discussion, the Bill was read the second time at 11 p.m., and- the committee stage was then commenced. The House rose at 7.37 a.m. till 2.30 this afternoon.
