Following is the report for March: — No 3 Level Norths—This ..face is now out 226 feet fromi crosscut,, making the total distance driven op stono 194 feet. A fault has now made its appearance on the face, but the lode should lie recovered again in a few days.. The lode driven on for the period averaged 68 indies of a value of LA 16s fjd per ton. New No 4 Level Crosscut—Crosscutting here was continued for a footage of 69 feet, making the face now 191 feet from surface. The country passed through and in the face is favourable for stone living down to this level.
Surface—Several necessary works have been carried out on the surface and the old cyanide tanks'at the battery are now being repaired. The sand flume is almost completed and should be in use in a few days. Battery—There were 38-1 tons sent to the battery fPiic! cruslnkP’l'or a return of 4AW. Idwi of melted gold. The cyanide plant for the same period treated 263 'tons for IlHnz and 17divt of bullion. Total estimated value £2, 157 (exclusive of premium on sale ol change). cold in London and premium on' exchange.
