LONDON, April 6
Underu'riters expect to receive a considerable portion of the New Zealand five million loan.
The Daily Telegraph says: The giltedged market has revived too late today to assist the Neu' Zealand loan on the market. It is believed that application was made for half of tile sum was sought. Though t'h:s compares unfavourably with recent loan issues the market conditions were adverse.
Tne Daily Telegraph adds: Wh'le the New Zealand scrip may open at .small discount on Wednesday, it probably will soon reach the issue price.

Mr Forbes this evening expressed the gratification at the favourable treatment that the New Zealand loan was accorded in London. He said tha't the response showed that New Zealand was pursuing a sound pbHcyj and it might be takeii as a tribute to- the Government’s of the economic problem within the Dominion. It went 'to show that financiers appreciated the soundness of policy and determination of the Government to carry through 'its obligations.
