WELLINGTON, April 7

On the motion of 'the New Zealand (Law Society, the Court of Appeal this morning made, an order striking William Anderson Beattie oi Dargaville otf the rolls;of barristers and solicitors pf' the Dominion.

Counsel for Beattie, in consenting to the order being made, said his client could show the 'Court he had not been •guilty of dishonesty, hut he realised that he had been negligent and some disciplinary action by the Court wa.s necessary. He was consenting because of his bad health. He was not likely ever to practice again.

: -A similar order, by consent, was also made against Stanilaus James Moran of/Masterton, barrister and solicitor. . In each case costs were allowed to the Law Society.
