ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. W Jeffries and Go’s, report: At the above yards yesterday a f small entry of 25 head of cattle and , 50 sheep were penned there being the s usual attendance of buyers present. Competition was not brisk and few lots were sold under the hammer, prices being on a par with the last sale prior to Easter. In conjunction with Messrs Houston and Co. the following sales were made. For Mj. Patrick, 16 wethers at 13® 6d; 34 ewes at 10s. For C. Harcourt, 2 steers at £7 10s, 2 at £7 os, 1 at £7, 1 heifer at £5 7® 6d, a runner at £4.* On account Messrs McPherson Bros, (at Grey Yard's) 1 steer at £6 15s, 4 at £6 10s, 2 at £B, 2 at £6 17s 6d, 2 at £6, 3 at £5 10s, 1 heifer an £6 ss, 2 at £5 2s 6d, 2 at £5, 2 at £4 ss, 4 at £4 ss.

Messrs M. Houston and Co. report:— Our entry at yesterday’s fixture at, the above yards consisted of 25 fat cattle and 50 fat sheep which were submitted to the usual attendance of buyers. Competition was not at all anh mated, nevertheless the yarding was cleared at satisfactory prices. We quote as follows: —For a client, 16 wether hoggets at 13/6, 34 fat ewes at 10/-; on account of C. Harcourt, 2 bullocks at £7/10/-, 2 at £</sr, 1 at £5/7/6, 3 at £6/17/6, 1 at £7/5/-, 1 at £7, 1 heifer at £*4, 3 runners at £3/15/-, 5 at £3/10/-, 2 cows at £6/10/-, 2 bullocks at £6/15/-, 2 at £6/10/-.
