WOMAN FOUND HANGING
'Sy Telegraph—Per Prets Association I BLENHEIM, April 2. Just prior to noon to-dav. Mrs Mary Aim Swafford, wife of Mr J. I). Swafford, was found hanging from a rafter in the garage at her home. Since the birth of a baby three weeks ago, deceased had been jn a weak condition, her health necessitating daily rest. Deceased, who was twenty-four years of age, was a daughter of Mr C. Both a n of Tuamarinui.
17-YEAR OLD GIRL MISSING. ■NAPIER.A pril 2. A week lias now elapsed since Olga Corckran, aged seventeen, disappeared, from her home. No trace lias yet been, round beyond the discovery of the girl’s vanity bag in the backyard of a shop in Shapespeare Road. It is stated the girl had been discontented and wanted to return to Dunedin, where she formerly resided.
