BRITISH .COLUMBIA DROPS QUOTA.
(United Press Association—By Electric Telegfnpk—Copyright.) VICTORIA, (JLCS.), March 30. The Government intends to abandon the Bill requiring a sixty per cent, quota of British films to be shown in British Columbia. This action has been forced by the Opposition and Government supporters. Air I. Hanna and G. Walhem declared that the Bill would violate the principle of British liberty and would not foster loyalty. The British films shown here are now well acted but lack British plot and background.
