Messages from Prague state that strong detachments of the military have been rushed to the Brux coal district, in Bohemia, where -ten thousand miners struck, -in protest against threatened dismissals, from one pit. They will endeavour to prevent _ th l ' strike from .spreading to !he pits supplying the power istations ol Sees tad 11, which provides Prague's electric cur-
rent. The Communist agitators are busy in the area.
