Police Sergeant Small saw a horse poking his head out of a- stable door and immediately recognised it as the missing racehorse. Simba. He looked a wreck of a thoroughbred, liis hips and ribs were sticking through his skin.
A man living in a house in the adjoining paddock was arrested.
Later Albert Norman McCoy, a horse dealer and trainer, was i barged with having stolen the gelding walued at £1,500. He was remanded <m £SOO bail.
