The Unemployment llill, which eiti p bodies the policy of the Government for the extra wage tax and establishing machinery for winter re.ief, has been completed, and is waiting the approval of Cabinet before being brought, down to the House. The lit. Hon. J. G. Coates hopes he will be able to introduce tile Bill on Wednesday evening, but if Cabinet lms not given its sanction by that time it will have to wait till after Easter. -Is the Bill will excite some comment on its initial stage, and as the Government is anxious t > get rid of the Mortgagors’ Bill before Easter, this course might be followed and its unemployment policy revealed after th e short recess.
