RUSSIAN TIMBER
DISAGREEABLK TiYPRESSION
EXPLOITATION OF CONVICTS
(United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph.—Cppyright.)
LONDON, March 17

There is a natural resentment at such a huge contract, which will damage British, Columbian and Scandinavian induo r:e.s and adversely ailed the LritNn balance of trade in Russia which is already lopsided.
