REFUSAL TO EXPRESS LOYALTY

CHRISTCHURCH, March 17.

0- F. Riley, a prominent member of the local Communist Party, has been exipelled from the membership of the ‘Christchurch Returned Soldiers’ Association, and has appealed to the Dominion executive against an action which he declared as "unconstitutional, and- a miscarriage of justice.” The Association \says Vtliat *t took action because of Riley’s activities us a Communist and his refusal to express loyalty to the King and Empire.
