INFANTILE PARALYSIS.

(By Telegraph—Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 16. The infantile paralysis cases notified for the week ended on March 14, total twelve. Of these eight were in the Canterbury Health District, two in central Wellington, one in Otago, and one in the Wanganui-Horowhenua district. No deaths were reported.

OBITUARY

AUCKLAND, March 17

Obituary—Rev. Brother Calixtus. He was the director of the Marist Brothers’ School at Auckland, and formerly was stationed at Invercargill, and at Christchurch. His death followed a stroke on his returning from the swimming sports last night. Rev. Brother Calixtus was a noted Rugby coach, and he had a brilliant scholastic record.
