SYDNEY BRIDGE
(HANDED OVER BY CONTACTORS. . (Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY, Alnrch 15. The Sydney Harbour bridge was today formally handed over by the contractors, Dorman Long and Co, to the New South Wales Government. The bridge was illuminated to-night, and the here, including the /"Diomede" from New Zealand, wore rehearsing their searchlight display, focussing their lights on -the bridge, and malting a glorious spectacle. Fifty thousand school children go in a procession across the bridge to-mor-row, preparatory to Saturday’s carnival.
