BOWLING
The Hokitika Bowling Club proposes sending a four rink team to Grey, mouth on Saturday afternoon to play a return game for the Reynolds Badges. On Saturday last, . the official opening of the Waimangaroa green took place. There was- a large attendance, and the green, which was lately put down was in good order. In time it should be one of the best in the district. Mr P. Struthers, President of the Buller Bowling Centre, performed the opening ceremony and his congratulations were endorsed by Mr D. Wilmot, Secretary of the Centre, ams representatives of various Clubs. After the official opening, Mrs Lunn, wife of the President of the Waimangaroa Club, threw down the kitty and games commenced, a most enjoyable time being spent. , .
