DISPUTED CONTRACT
WRESTLER'S CLAIM. ( By Telegraph— Per Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 5. V decision in favour of defendant was given by Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., m the Magistrate’s Court m a case m which Mahonunad Ali Sunni, a professional wrestler, claimed £262 from his former manager, Alexander Bain, of Napier. Plaintiff alleged that Bain had agreed to pay all Sunni’s expenses on a wrestling tour, relying entirely on side-betting for personal profits. Defendant claimed that the arrangement was for Sunni to receive 50 per cent, of the net profits. “The six years that have elapsed since the agreement was made aocount for the discrepancy in the evidence,” said the Magistrate, but ! think the defendant’s statement of the contract is more likely.” Tile case was adjourned sine die to enable the two parties to investigate the accounts on the basis set out ip defendant’s evidence.
