It is announced in the “London •Gazette” that, General Sir Charles Eergusson, Bart., formerly Governor-Gen-eral of New, Zealand, having attained the age-limit of liability to recall, ceases 'to belong to the Reserve of Officers.. Sir Charles, who was born on January 17, 1865, has had a distinguished military career which included A service in the Sudan Expedition ofn thirty years jago in which)-lie was severely wounded. In the'Great War lie commainG 1 an army corps, he was repeatedly mentioned in dispatches and received many decorations, both British and foreign.
