A RATI UR A STOCK SALE. Yesterday at the Arahura yards 47 head of .cattle, 32 fat lambs and 110 fat sheep were sent forward for competition 'to the usual buyers. Prices recorded, were on la par with those ruling at the last fixture, any firming being for sheep. Xo big cattle were entered. Ox beef made 23s to 24s 6cl. .Heifer beef to 21s, and cow- beef from 18s to 20s per hundred. Lambs were in keen demand and equalled Addington rates. W. Jeffries and Co. sold as follows For W. Olderog 20 lambs at 13s 6d, 12 at 12s, 26 fat ewes at 12s, 20 hoggets at 14s 6d. For Harris Bros. 23 ewes at 14s, 23 weathers at 14s 3d,' 28 at 16s. (For T. Staines 3 steers at '£7 7« 6d, 3 a,t '£6 12s 6d, 1 heifer at £6 15s. 3. at I£6, 2 runner s at £3 6s, 1 at £3 10s. ,For C, Harcqurt 4 steers at £8 10s, 4 at £7 53, 1 at £6198, 7. “cows . at £7 ss, 5 heifers at £7 !ss, 1 runner at :£4. For a client 4 cows at £5.
