Charles Alexander Smith, aged 42 labourer, pleaded guilty-at the Police Court to-day to a charge of mischief by wilfully damaging a plate-glass window - valued at £lB 10/-. Detective Sergeant Kelly said Smith, threw a glass beer mug through a shop window in Karangahape Road about-5, p.m. “This is the third time he has deliberately, broken windows in this same shop, which is owned by a : distant relative of his,” added Mr •Kelly. :' Jt lias got so bad now that the insurance office's will not have anything, to: do with this window and shop., Smith still says that when he is released he will do the same tiling again.
