MAN OVERBOARD
DELUDED STEWARD’S (By Telegraph—Per, Press Association 1 WELLINGTON, March 7. Apparently suffering' from delusions, one of tlie stewards in. tlie third class, jumped overboard during the voyage of the Making from San Francisco to Wellington. A lifebuoy was thrown into the sea, and a boat lowered, and the ship put about. The man was aboard again in twenty minutes, and was afterwards kept m the doctor’s care. Arrangements have been made ioi liis removal to the hospital to-day. Among the Ma.kura's arrivals is Major It. W. Russell, of the Indian Army, who will take up the position ot military secretary to the Governor, Lord Bledisloe, the post formerly held by Major Bathurst. He is interested in fibbing, hunting, and shooting.
