Some hundreds of pounds worth of ■ jewellery were stolen in a daring rob--berv carried out on the third floor of the Dominion Building yesterday moi’Qing or late on Saturday night. Tlie thief or thieves entered the premises of Delmonte Patience Ltd. -and took from showcases a considerable amount of valuable goods. It was not dis-, covered until yesterday afternoon, anil a full inventory of the stock had not bean /carried (out lifete last evening. Therefore the amount stolen has not yet 'been actually ascertained buit it is confidently believed the amount will run into several hundreds sterling.
