Greymouth won by 105 to 99 in a very even contest, Mercer’s rink proving to 'be the Badge winners. Members of the local Club visited the bowling green at the Mental Hospital on Saturday afternoon where sides were chosen, and spine interesting play resulted, a number of the patients and attendants participating. The green proved to be in capital order, running true and fast, and the play generally was of a good class. During the afternoon, afternoon tea was served and was appreciated by the players. General pleasure was expressed at the excellence of the playing surface.
The Greymouth Bowling Chib have notified’their desire to send a team to (Hokitika this week, and are being asked to send a five rink team next Saturday aDernoon.
