The hanks of England, France, Federal Bank and Bank of International Settlements have offered to renew Germany’s credit of twenty millions sterling .for three months, provided an immediate repayment of ten per cent i.s made. This is France’s idea, which the Reichbank i.s resisting, asking than the ten per cent be spread over three months. .As Germany’s credit expires on 4th March:-it is expected France’s proposal will be accepted.
