TROOP TRAINS OK THE SKY. LONDON, Mar. 1. Aerial “troop trains,” which will rush lully-epuipped soldieis into action in a lew hours, avoiding long and fatiguing marches, are contemplated by the British Air Ministry. A competition to determine the new type of troop-carrying aeroplane, of which a large fleet will bo used for policing the Empire, is being organised. These new “troop trains of tlm sky” must be able to carry 40 fully armed infantrymen, to cruise at a speed ol 150 miles an hour, and lie equipped with machine-guns mounted to meet air attacks from any direction.
