LIFE OF PARLIAMENT. NO DECISION YET. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 1. While contradicting Lobby statements that Cabinet bad- decided to extend the life of Parliament to four years, the Premier, Mr G. W. Forbes, 'said to-dav that he anticipated that the question would have to be dealt witn this session. It was mentioned before the election, and by several candidates from the platform during their campaign. So far, however, no decision had been arrived at on the subject. In response to a question concerning the Closure motion on th e Order Paper, Mr Forbes said this morning that the motion sought a permanency for the closure. “It is not limited to the life of this Parliament, as was that in th w Emergency Session last year,” he added.
