Lortzing’s “Undine,’’ was played to-night. The placings were announced, but no points were given until the playing of the second piece. The plapings were:— Masterton Municipal Band—lst. Hastings Citizens’ Band—2nd. .Royal Naval 'Volunteer Reserve Band and Oamaru Municipal Band (equal)—3rd Christchurch Municipal Band—sth. Miramar Silver Band—6th. Nelson Garrison Band—7th. Stratford Municipal Band—Bth. Carterton Band—9th. Dunedin O-ty Tramways’ Band—loth.
