ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES

FATAL MOTOR ACCIDENT. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) ASHBURTON, February 20. A fatality occurred near Fairton on Friday night when a collision occurred between a motor cycle and sidechair and a service bus. The victim was Mr o Brown, wife of Mr Hugh Brown, of Matlock Street, Woolston. Christchurch.

Mr Brown is in hospital suffering from a comminuted fracture of the femur and fracture of the fibula. His condition is satislactory. .

The accident happened when Brown drew out to pass a car in iront. Airs Brown died within a few minutes.
