OIL IN HARBOUR
SHIPPING AGENT FINED

AUCKLAND, February 19
Henderson and Maclarlaue Ltd., as agents lor the Danish ship Astoria, and Shell Company of New Zealand as agents for the Norwegian ship Andrea, were to-day fined £25 and £SO respectively for discharging oil into the harbour. It was stated to be the first: ship’s of ft nice,' due to the misunderstanding of a Danish officer’s order. The Shell Company had done all possible to help the Harbourmaster.
