■EMPIRE CURRENCY. STABILISATION NEEDED. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) OTTAWA, Feb. 15. The Canadian Government is piepared to refer the stabilisation of cuirencv or other problems affecting the Empire to the Imperial Economic Conference, so the Minister of Finance, Mr Rhodes told the House. The stabilisation of the Empire currencf was urged in a resolution by Air A. E. Mac Lean (Liberal). Tf the Empire was ito be become an economic unit, he said, the stabilisation of the currency within the Empire would be one of 'the first questions for consideration on the agenda of the Economic Conference in July.
