The Otago -crew were evidently favoured by the conditions for tin: six 1 h 'Cornwall Cup race at Evans Ray this 'morning. a s they took an early lead and maintained it to the ond, winning by 2 minutes 45 seconds from Auckland, and Christchurch were third. There Was « light southerly 'wind with smooth water, a pleasant change from the boisterous 'northerly weather that had prevailed for the previous races.
