SMALL SCHOOLS. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 4. A definite assurance as to the fate 0 f small schools was received from the Minister of Education by the Dominion excutive of the Farmers’ Union. Hon. R. Masters said in reply to a request for information that the only schools it was proposed to close were very small Grade 0 schools, those with enrollment of less than six pupils, but none of these would be closed before all the circumstances were considered, and then only when it was evident the pupils would receive a bettor education through a correspondence school.
