RISINGS BECOMING SERIOUS

PLANES BOMB INSURGENTS.

CALCUTTA, .Tanmiry 31

Since noon, Boval Air force planes have been bombing insurgents in tribal villages in the Malaknml district on the north-west frontier on British Posts. A warning of impending action was dropped from aeroplanes by leaflets which gave the reason for the bombing, and advised the removal of women and children to safety. The leaflets also stated that bombing would continue daily until representatives, bringing hostages, reported to the political officer, The Malakana disturhanee is due to Congress propaganda. The disturhanee m the native States of Kashmir is assuming grave proportions, and British troops have been sent. The trouble is communal between Hindus and Moslems, and many have been killed or wounded. The whole area is seething with discontent and the villagers are marching on one another.
