N.S.W. POSITION. J,: SYDNEY, January 30. The “Telegraph” says it is regarded as certain that the Commonwealth will not allow Australia, to default and will seek the assistance of the banks to meet in full Air Lang’s interest commitments. The “Herald” says it is believed that one of the conditions discussed at the Loan Council for granting Lang money was the placing of a receiver in New South "Wales Treasury. Mr Bavin stated that if the Government did not carry out its obligations, the Governor had a right and duty to see that there was in office a Government that would do so.
