RELIEF WORK STRIKE
WELLINGTON DEMONSTRATION TO-DAY. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association WELLINGTON, January 29. jit is the intention of the ■♦relief workers, who .are on strike at Lower (Hutt, Petone and Eastbourne, to march inito Wellington to-morrow, headed by a band. Conveyances will be. provided for those unable-to walk. A mass- meeting of the relief workers is 'proposed to be held, on arrival at Thorn don, and an-, attempt will also be made to meet the Prime- Minister.
