Finding that smoking is “injuring his health” “Nicotine” wrote to an Auckland journal recently to say he would gladly knock off the habit but finds he can’t. So he thought he wouid see “if any of your numerous readers’’ could help him. Not one of them has. But really there's no need for "Nicotine” to abandon his pipe. Nothing so drastic is necessary. Let him discontinue the use jf imported tobacco. It’s full of nicotine, and will injure anybody’s health if used habitually. After that this worried correspondent should smoke only New Zealand toasted tobacco. This is the, world’s purest, and even if smoked immoderately will do “Nicotine” no more harm than eating his dinner. Toasting also gives this beautiful tobacco its delightful flavour and rare, bouquet. There are only four brands manufactured : Riverhead Gold, Navy Gut No. 3, Cavendish and Cut Plug No. 10, No one need leave off smoking for health reasons so long as the baccy used is New Zealand i toasted. But watch out for imitations! j i l„.ro are several on the market.—Advt. I
