To solve mysteries of the South Polar Continent as the main object, and to investigate the possible existence of sea level between Weddell and Ross seas, are the aims of the . Antarctic Expedition planned by Sir IT. Wilkins, who said to-day that a final decision lias not yet been reached, but that there is a strong probability that the arrangements will be completed.
