There was a large yarding of fat lambs. The quality wa.s very mixed, light lambs predominating. Oompetittion was keen, up to the the schedule rates. Extra heavy prime lambs sold up to’ 20s 7d,, prime 16s 6d to 18s 6d, medium 13s fo 16s, light 10s 6d 'to 1 2s 6d, plain from 8s 6d. There was,also a large yarding of fat store lambs, mostly showing signs of the dry season. The market was a dragging one.

There -was a full yarding of i flit cheep, mostly of ewes. Medltlhl weight prime lots met with kerifl competition. Very heavy ewes \V6fe hard’ to quit (Withers were firmer. Extra heavy ewes sold op to 12s 6d, prime 10s to 11s, medium 7s to 9s, light from 6s, There was a small yarding of store sheep, mostly of breeding ewes. There jva t | a sound sale, at prices up to late rates. •

There was a medium lyarditrt of baconers. Values were firmer, light weights meeting with keener competition. Bayoners sold, from 37s to 41s 6s, heavier 46s 6d to 50s 6dy etxra heavy to 555; choppera £2 to £4 13s 6d. Store pigs were decidedly easier, there being few buyers in-attendance.
