The winner and second were bracketed. Southland Handicap:—(B) Rare Paronto 1; (5) Wrecker 2; (2) Ruin 3. Scr.—Rose Guy, Dimworthy. Won by 2 lengths each way. Time 3.22 4-5. Electric Handicap—(7) Morrison 1, (9) Peter Daunt 2, (3) Sunny Morn 3, All started . Won by three quarters of a length, a neck. Time 2.123-5.
