Florida, Gar Wood to-day set a mark of 110.785 miles per hour in .Miss Ainereia IX. to claim the world’s speed boat record. On a second run. Wood made 110.4!) miles southward over a measured nautical mile. Tin* course was at Indian Creek. T|he following north hound run was 111.08 miles. The elapsed time was 37.52 seconds
