HONOLULU MURDER
[United Press Association.—By Electro Telegraph.—Copyright.] HONOLULU, January 28. The hearing is set for Friday afternoon of a defence motion to dismiss the indictment of Fortescue and other defendants for arraignment on Friday morning. The defendants are remaining at Pearl Harbour under a naval guard, 'flie defence would not ask for bail because of the “tense situation,'’ but asked for freedom within the Navy' Yard, without bond which the prosecution opposed. It is understood the Governor and Prosecutor for the Navy conferred on jurisdiction, but would not divulge the result saying the conference was not completed. It is likely they are awaiting possible action from Washington.
