It is announced that the North West Frontier Province, hitherto owing to its strategic importance, directly under the India government will be constituted at once a Governor’s Province and have a Legislative Council of forty members. Rioters -smashed the str. et lamps and broke fire alarms, while they ovrwhelm•ed the police and set fire td the stations. The inhabitants are panic stricken.
