WAGE CUTS

The Maritime Hoard have agreed to a reduction lining made in the wages of the sailors and of firemuo and also the catering department employees on the foreign going vessels. The reduction is to he 18 per cent, monthly.
A reduction of the wages of Home trade vessels of (> per cent, weekly, has also heen agreed to. There is also a reduction for. some of the low ratings, proportionately smaller.
