BANKRUPT TRAINER
A DEFICIENCY OF £3IBB. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) CHR ISTCHURCH, January 26. Poor stakes at race meetings, wins narrowly missed, drought, and a general lack of business ability and experience .were blamed lor his failure, by Hoyden Benjamin Berry, a horse trainer, of Templeton, who met his creditors this morning. The amount owing to unsecured creditors was £lO3l. There was £3420 owing to secured,qfjiditors and the value of security-Av-fis estimated at £1176. The total debts were £3275 and assets £B6l, leaving a total deficiency of £2IBB. 'Pile creditors were sympathetic, and the estate was left in the hands of the Official Assignee, whom the creditors recommended to facilitate tile discharge.
