The “Sydney Telegraph” says; Notwithstanding the efforts bv leading trading banks to have the exchange rate on London stabilised, there is a growing impression in city circles that the Commonwealth bank may feel itself obliged to reduce the rate. A reduction is expected either to-day or next week.
