Herald” service says that a Cabinet crisis, involving Sir Philip 'Snowden’s resignation, is threatening in connection with the ten per cent, tariff.

It is understood that Cabinet failed to agree, after an all-day meeting. Sir P. Snowden signed the subcommittees* report agreeing to tho ten per cent, tariff but it is rumoured that he considered it a minute, and not a definate recommendation. LONDON, January 21. The “Telegraph” says there is a definite possibility of a Cabinet crisis on the tariff question To-day’s seven hour meeting lias not yielded a decision. It is-understood Sir P. Snowden and Mr Mac Lean strongly dissented to the balance of Trade Committee’s recommendation. Tho adoption of a tariff is regarded as a certainty now. The question is whether Snowden and AlacLean will resign.
