Simpson got into difficulties, and Munro hact gone to his assistance, after dispatch- -- iiijr a hoy for help. Coroner E. D. Mosley remarked: It may he some consolation to his relatives and friends that Monro lost his life in an endeavour to save the life of Simpson. Being only a moderate swimmer, he knew he was risking his life. Yet he did not hesitate to go to his friend’s assistance.
