The Rumanian Finance Minister was to-day the guest of honour at a luncheon given by Sir John Simon (Foreign secretary). He was also received by the Prune Minister. CHILDREN’S GAS MASKS. SOVIET CHEMICAL DEFENCE MOSCOW, Jan. 10. Three thousand children are being trained to partake in the forthcoming chemical defence manoeuvres, which the Soviet Government is organising. Children will demonstrate with gas masks, during poison g"s attacks.
