\ AMERICAN FLYING. WOMAN’S SUCCESSFUL TOUR. (United Press Association—By Electric Tel« graph —Copyright.; RUGBY, January 18. An Englishwoman’s tour by 'air, during which friends in many parts of Africa, including the Cape were visited was concluded by the return of Mrs Hestenra. She was piloted by Captain Mackintosh, and used an ordinary Puss Moth machne, with a Gipsy three-en-gine. Despite the long tour and the ninety landings and take offs made, there was not a single replacement, and no repairs have been necessary, and the machine was using the same plugs that were fitted at the beginning of the journey. In the London-Capetown service aeroplanes will cover the distance '■(f, eleven days, which, it i s hoped, later w ill be reduced to nine days. The fare lias been provisionally fixed at £l3O, including accommodation «n route. Five types of aircraft including giant flying boats, will be used during each journey .
