As a preliminary to the rehabiliation of the flax industry, a move will he made during the coming week when three flax mills in the Mauawatu will be re-opened as the direct result of assistance from the Unemployment Board. Full-time employment will be given to about 100 married men who are at present engaged on relief works. Tiie successful conclusion of negotiations in the matter was announced to-day by the Deputy-Chairman of the Board, Mr J. S. Jessep. Lengthy negotiations have been carried out between the Board, the flax-millers, and the exporters, and, as an outcome, three mills will start upon fulfilling
