Through some oversight 1 previously omitted to mention the name c. f tho builder of tho local Anglican ! Church. Mr Bert Wineek (lie capable . carpenter gave us of bis best and carried out the work under adverse and dilli'-iilt conditions in a very creditable manner. Wo have bad another happy gathering on New - Year's Day, when fill' local sports committee carried through a varied programme which met with keen competition, and an enjoyable dance was bold at night. Dr. Bell has paid us a' hurried and appreciated visit, in answer to a call for advice; and with the assistance ot capable guides, was successful in negotiating the flooded unbridged rivers on horseback
